1. Services and Quotes
- Quotes: All pricing provided via our website or email is an estimate based on the information provided by the customer. A final, binding quote will only be provided once the instrument has been physically inspected in our workshop.
- Scope of Work: We will perform only the services agreed upon. Any additional issues discovered during the repair process will be communicated to the customer for approval before proceeding.
2. Customer Responsibilities
- Accuracy: You are responsible for providing accurate information about your instrument’s condition and history.
- Drop-off and Pick-up: Customers are responsible for the safe transport of their instruments to and from our workshop.
3. Payments and Collection
- Payment Terms: Payment for services is due in full upon completion of the work, prior to or at the time of pick-up.
- Unclaimed Instruments: Instruments left at the workshop for more than 60 days after notice of completion, without prior arrangement, may be subject to storage fees or disposal at our discretion.
4. Limitation of Liability
While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and care of your instrument, Lake Echo Guitar Works is not liable for:
- Pre-existing structural damage or hidden defects discovered during the repair process.
- Damage occurring during transit to or from our workshop.
- Natural wear and tear or environmental changes (humidity/temperature) once the instrument has left our care.
